Privacy Policy for www.vetskart.com

VetsKart is a product of Findoly Solutions LLP. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how VetsKart and Findoly Solutions LLP (together, "we," "us," or "our") collect, use, process, and share information when you access or use www.vetskart.com ("Website").

For Home Service requests, the Website records your enquiry and forwards relevant information through Findoly's lead-facilitation system so suitable veterinary professionals can contact you directly. VetsKart/Findoly facilitates the connection and does not manage the veterinary consultation, treatment, professional fee, medicine, appointment fulfilment, or clinical outcome.

By submitting a Home Service request after accepting the acknowledgement shown on the form, you consent to the processing and sharing described in this Policy for that request.

1. Information We Collect

Account and contact information: We may collect your name, mobile number, email address, and account-related information when you create or use a VetsKart account.

Veterinary requirement information: For Home Service requests, we may collect the service you select, the description or message you provide, preferred date, address and location information, and a request or booking reference. Location information may include a formatted address, city, state, PIN code, latitude/longitude, or place identifier produced by our mapping provider.

Usage information: We may collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referral URLs, pages viewed, links clicked, campaign/attribution information, and actions taken on the Website.

2. How We Use Information

We may use your information to operate the Website and your account, respond to support requests, create an internal request/reference, process your veterinary requirement through Findoly, route or match your request using service and location information, communicate service-related updates, maintain security, prevent misuse, maintain records, and improve Website functionality.

For Home Service requests under the facilitation model, Findoly Solutions LLP uses the submitted information to facilitate a connection between you and suitable veterinary professionals. Submission of a request does not itself confirm an appointment and does not mean VetsKart/Findoly is managing the veterinary service.

3. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

Veterinary professionals: When you submit a Home Service requirement, we may share information reasonably required to respond to that request, including your name, mobile number, email address, location/address, selected service, preferred date, and requirement details, with suitable veterinary professionals. Those professionals may contact you directly regarding availability, appointment details, professional fees/payment, consultation, treatment, medicines, certificates, grooming or other requested services, and follow-up.

Service and infrastructure providers: We may use trusted vendors and infrastructure providers that help us operate the Website, communications, hosting, mapping, security, analytics, and business systems. They may process information only as needed for those functions and subject to applicable obligations.

Legal and business requirements: We may disclose information when required by applicable law or valid legal process, or where reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, and property. Information may also be transferred in connection with a lawful merger, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer of business assets.

4. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

5. Third-Party Links

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or resources that are not owned or controlled by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit.

6. Children's Privacy

The Website is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us, and we will promptly remove such information from our records.

7. Data Retention

We retain user personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Account information such as name, email address, contact number, and related account details may be retained while your account remains active. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, unless retention is required by applicable law, regulatory requirements, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate business purposes.

8. Data Deletion Request

Users may request deletion of their account and personal data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will take reasonable steps to delete your personal information from our active systems within 30 days, unless we are legally required to retain certain information. Some non-personal, anonymized, or legally required records may be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and business reporting purposes.

9. Changes to this Policy

We reserve the right to modify or update this Policy at any time without prior notice. We will notify you of any material changes to this Policy by posting the updated version on the Website or through other means of communication. Your continued use of the Website after any modifications to this Policy constitutes your acceptance.
